Sue Devine is a seasoned executive with extensive experience leading non-profits and assisting them in achieving their strategic and philanthropic goals.  She developed her expertise while working with two of the world’s leading museums and with cultural, educational and human service organisations across the U.S. in professional and consulting roles.

Before founding her own consulting practice, Sue served for 20 years as Executive Director of American Friends of the Louvre. She was instrumental in establishing this new 501 (c)(3) non-profit in the U.S., securing more than $45 million for a range of projects at the museum. Prior to this role, Devine held the position of Executive Director of American Friends of the British Museum, raising significant funds from U.S. donors for the world’s first public museum. Her previous experience includes working at Campbell & Company, a US fundraising firm headquartered in Chicago, and in senior development positions at The Chicago History Museum and Meadows Schools of the Arts and Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Sue is active as a speaker and advisor on developing philanthropic support for international organisations. She is a longtime member of Women in Development, New York and has served on its board of directors. Sue has a B.A. and M.A. in art history, specialising in Northwest Coast Indian art at the University of Washington during graduate studies.
