ARC Research

Description

ARC Research objects are:

to advance the education of the public in national and international political, social and economic policy, including the promotion of research in any of those areas and the publication of the useful results of such research; and

to advance all other benevolent and philanthropic purposes.

ARC Research seeks to advance education in relevant, important and substantive societal issues of the day. Its research is undertaken by leading subject matter experts and academics who are carefully selected to produce evidence-led, independent research on their specialist subject(s) with the aim of improving knowledge and understanding of some of the most pressing issues facing society at a local, national and international level. All  research is made freely available to the general public via our website and seeks to add educational value to the store of human knowledge.

ARC Research’s main streams of work include: Vision and Story, the Social Fabric and Responsible Citizenship, Free Enterprise and Good Governance, Energy and Resources, Environmental Stewardship, and Identity in a Digital Age.  Our questions across these streams will help guide us as we build a hope-filled vision for the future

ARC Research will always seek to ensure that its education and research is balanced and provides a rounded picture of any subjects it addresses, as well as equipping the recipients of its research with evidence and an understanding of different arguments and perspectives.

All education and research activities are carried out in accordance with ARC Research’s objects and, to ensure best practice, will seek to reflect the Charity’s Commission’s guidance on “The Advancement of Education for the Public Benefit”. Research will be presented in a balanced and empirical manner with evidence and analysis that allows the reader or hearer to form their own opinion about the merits or otherwise of the applicable research.
