EDYN n.o.
Description
The European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN) supports young pro-democracy activists, politicians, and journalists from across the political and ideological spectrum, ages 18 to 32, in 23 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans, and the South Caucasus. These include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
We support our members by equipping these young leaders with essential skills to be politically and civically engaged and to combat hate and division within their society.
Our purpose and vision are one of dynamic leadership and active citizenship, where young Europeans stand at the forefront of positive change, advocating for freedom and democracy across their countries, shaping policies, and fostering inclusivity. Through empowerment and collective action, EDYN aspires to cultivate a vibrant community of young changemakers who drive positive change and inspire others to embrace the principles of freedom and democracy for a brighter, more equitable future.
As we expand our funding landscape, our ambition is to become a sustainable network – based on shared values – for pro-democratic young leaders active in public life in their respective 23 countries.
